02Information we collect
Information you send us. When you submit the enquiry form on our Contact page, we receive the details you enter: your name, email address, phone or WhatsApp number (optional), the programs you're interested in, your level, your preferred lesson format and lesson type, your message and the language you were viewing the site in. The form is delivered to our inbox by our email provider, Resend, and we send you a confirmation email. We also receive anything else you send us by email, phone or messaging apps.
Information collected automatically. Our hosting provider, Vercel, processes technical information when your browser loads the site, such as your IP address, browser type, the pages requested and the time of the request. This is used to deliver the site and keep it secure.
Preferences stored on your device. If you choose a language, the site remembers it in your browser's local storage. This stays on your device and is not sent to us. See our Cookie Policy for details.
Usage statistics. We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors find and use the site, for example which pages are viewed and whether an enquiry was sent. Google Analytics uses cookies and receives your IP address and browser details. We do not use advertising tools, and we do not use this data to identify you personally.

Where data protection laws such as the GDPR apply, we rely on: your consent (for example, when you contact us); taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, and performing that contract (arranging and delivering lessons); our legitimate interests (running and securing our website and business); and compliance with legal obligations.
06International transfers
Some of our service providers process information outside your country, including in the United States. Where required, these transfers are protected by appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
07How long we keep it
If you contact us but don't become a student, we keep your enquiry for up to [24 months] and then delete it. If you become a student, we keep your details for as long as you take lessons with us and afterwards for as long as required by law, for example for accounting purposes.
08Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal information, to restrict or object to how we use it, to receive a copy of it, and to withdraw your consent at any time. To use any of these rights, email terralingua.armenia@gmail.com. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
09Children and teenagers
We teach teenagers as well as adults. If a student is under [16], we ask a parent or guardian to contact us and agree to lessons on their behalf, and we collect a minor's information only with that consent.
10Security
We take reasonable steps to protect your information, and the site is served only over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to keep your information safe.
11Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed. If we make significant changes, we will update this page before they take effect.
