English Preparation for AUA Applicants
Applying to the American University of Armenia? Build the English skills behind your application and your future studies with a plan based on your level, chosen programme and deadline.
Begin with the official requirements
Check AUA’s current requirements for your programme and application cycle before choosing an English test. Use the official resources below for accepted evidence, reporting instructions and deadlines. We can then discuss the English preparation you need.
- Bring your intended degree and application timeline
- Identify the English skills you find hardest
- Keep university requirements separate from a teacher’s study plan
Develop the skills you will actually use
Work on reading academic material, explaining an argument and writing a clear paragraph. For an application draft, develop your own ideas and use feedback to improve clarity. Your writing remains your own work.
- Reading: identify the main point and supporting evidence
- Writing: organise a paragraph and revise unclear sentences
- Speaking: explain your interests and ask useful questions
Choose the right preparation route
If you need a test, explore TOEFL, IELTS or SAT Reading and Writing preparation as appropriate to the requirements you have confirmed. If you are invited to an interview, practise explaining your motivation and experiences in English.
- General English first if you need a stronger foundation
- Targeted exam work when you know the test you need
- Interview practice when relevant to your application

Your questions, answered
Do you work with AUA applicants?
You can enquire for English preparation focused on applying to AUA. Share your programme, current level and timeline so we can discuss a suitable plan.
Which English exam should I choose?
Check AUA’s current official requirements first. The accepted evidence and your circumstances determine the appropriate route; do not book a test based only on a tutoring page.
Do all applicants need interview preparation?
Do not assume an interview is required. Follow your university’s instructions and prepare for an interview if you are invited.
Can you submit my application?
This service is English teaching and preparation. You remain responsible for your application, documents, official score reporting and university communication.
