02Using the website
You may use this website to learn about our programs and to contact us. Please don't misuse it, for example by trying to disrupt it, access it in unauthorised ways or copy its content for commercial purposes.

We work to keep the information on this site accurate, but it is for general guidance only and may change. Student stories and statistics describe individual experiences and are not a promise of the same results.
04Enquiries and bookings
Sending us an enquiry does not create a contract. A booking is confirmed once we have agreed the program, schedule and fees with you in writing, for example by email or message.
05Fees and payment
Lesson fees, packages and payment methods are confirmed before your first lesson. [Payment is due before each lesson / Lesson packages are paid in advance / Invoices are due within 7 days.] Prices may change, but changes never apply to lessons you have already paid for.
06Cancellations and rescheduling
If you need to cancel or move a lesson, please tell us at least [24 hours] in advance and we will reschedule at no cost. Lessons cancelled with less notice, or missed without notice, may be charged in full. If we need to cancel a lesson, we will offer another time or a refund for that lesson.
07Online lessons
For online lessons you are responsible for a suitable device, a stable internet connection and a quiet place to learn. Lessons are never recorded unless everyone taking part agrees.
08Students under 18
Lessons for students under 18 must be booked by a parent or guardian, who accepts these terms on the student's behalf.
09Respect
We aim to keep every lesson friendly and supportive, and we ask the same of students. We may end lessons with anyone who behaves abusively or disrespectfully.
10Intellectual property
The content of this website, our logo and the materials we provide in lessons belong to Terralingua or our licensors. You may use lesson materials for your own personal learning, but please don't share, sell or republish them without our permission.
11Exams and trademarks
We help you prepare for exams, but we cannot guarantee any particular score or result. Exams are run by independent organisations. TOEFL and GRE are registered trademarks of ETS. IELTS is jointly owned by the British Council, IDP and Cambridge University Press & Assessment. GMAT is a registered trademark of the Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC). Terralingua is not affiliated with or endorsed by these organisations.
12Our liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or unforeseeable losses, and our total liability to you is limited to the fees you paid for the lessons concerned. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited, or your rights as a consumer.
13Links to other sites
The site may link to websites run by others. We are not responsible for their content or how they handle your information.
14Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page at the time you book applies to that booking.
15Governing law
